Took a couple of hours off on sunday afternoon to photograph Almscliffe Crag which is a short walk from my home. I have always been interested in landscape photography and created a 180° panarama when I got back. They are suprisingly simple to create and introduce a little viewer interaction to any website. Next time, I am going to go for the full 360°, with vertical movement. (If you zoom in, there is a lttle vertical movement already).
Stuart Woolf sent me a link to another panarama site. The page I have linked shows 360° New Year celebrations worldwide.

We are in the last few days of Autumn in England. Autumn is without doubt my favourite time of year. Don’t get me wrong I love the freshness of spring, the long balmy summer nights and even the frostiest of winter mornings. But it’s nature’s display of Autumn colours that lifts the spirits. For this designer, it’s time to get out with my camera and try to capture some of nature’s palette. One windy day and even the most stubborn of leaves will be gone.

Recently the number of emails I received each day has been around the 400 mark. The vast majority of these are spam. And so I have started using Thunderbird’s spam filtering…and to great effect. Have you considered the millions of business hours people waste dealing with spam worldwide?

Photoshop is just an incredible programme! I spent this afternoon/evening creating this poster size image and had so much fun drawing the vinyl records. Should be a great show – there are so many classic songs in it. Having spent the last few days creating a new website (to be launched later this week), it has been fun to creating this image for Leeds’ Potato Room Players.
